About Joe Cruz

A graduate from the prestigious University Of British Columbia Music Program in Vancouver, Canada, Joe Cruz is a Los Angeles based songwriter/composer/producer published by to PEN MUSIC GROUP Inc (Los Angeles). Joe most recently garnered two big song placements on the new Carly Rae Jepsen 2015 album release “Emotions”. The songs “Warm Blood” and “I Didn’t Just Come Here To Dance” both co-written with Carly Rae Jepsen. Joe has also been working with platinum-selling Swedish pop songstresses Molly Sanden (Sony) & Cazzi Opeia, Rozzi Crane (Small Giant/Columbia), and Amy Stroup (Secret Road) among others.

Joe has had many film and TV placements throughout his 20 plus years in the music industry and has been nominated for several awards in Canada. As an award-winning composer he has scored music for both film and TV shows like Flash Gordon (TV series Sci-Fi channel) and The Impello Films Elvis Presley biopic “Protecting The King”, as a sideman performed and toured with many artists including Grammy award-winning Canadian singer/songwriter Sarah Mclachlan on The Tonight Show, CBS Early Show, Ellen, Good Morning America, AOL Sessions, and the Rockefeller Tree Lighting Ceremony/Concert on NBC.
