About Chris Grainger
Chris Grainger is a producer, mixer, engineer Based in Nashville, TN, & began making records in the early 90’s while attending Belmont University. He quickly moved into working on a variety of projects, including Grammy-nominated recordings by Wilco, Switchfoot, and Sixpence None the Richer (including the hits “Kiss Me and There She Goes”).
In the early 2000’s, Grainger decided to focus on developing & mentoring new talent helping them to define unique identities. The first of which was Minneapolis band Dropping Daylight, whose demos created interest from several major labels, and shortly after signed with Octone Records. Grainger has since found similar success in the following years working with Luna Halo (American), Ludo (Island), and Janus (RealID/ILG). Most recently, Ace Reporter (Ooh La La Records), Kopecky Family Band(ATO), and Five Knives (RedBull Records).
